MINOR IN PSYCHOLOGY

Introduction
Major in Psychology

 		Minimum requirements for a minor in Psychology are 18 hours of course work, including (a) 2 required courses, (b) 1 course from List A below, and (c) 3 courses from List B below. Nine hours must be advanced, and 9 hours must be in residence, 6 of which must be advanced. Psychology minors must earn a minimum grade of C in each course they attempt in the minor. All students who wish to minor in Psychology first must meet with an advisor in the Academic Affairs Office of the Department of Psychology (124 Heyne Building, 713-743-8508). The specific course requirements for the revised minor in Psychology (beginning Fall 2000) are outlined below.
