LEXMARK OPTRA C710 COLOR LASER PRINTER The department has purchased a color laser printer with funds designated for computer equipment for instructional use. Therefore, the color printer(Lexmark) is only for printouts for classes you are either enrolled in or are teaching. You cannot connect to the Lexmark directly. Instructions on how to receive color printouts: Email the document(s) you'd like printed to PsychService@UH.EDU Some large images, or image-laden documents may be too large to go through email. If that's the case, email PsychService@uh.edu to make other arrangements Please allow at least 24 hours for the printouts to be returned. Most printouts don't take nearly that long, but if there are problems with the printer it may take that long to return the documents If you don't want the printout placed in your mailbox, let me know The Lexmark can print on card stock, glossy photo paper, transparencies and many other media. If you'd like something other than plain 8½ x 11 paper, you must provide it. The largest size paper the printer can accommodate is 8½ x 14 inches. It DOES however have a "Poster" mode, which allows it to print large images over a grid of paper (2 sheets x 2 sheets or more) which you can piece together If you have any other questions, email PsychService@UH.edu
