Proposal Submission

Thank you for your interest in participating in the IOOB Graduate Student Conference. The deadline for submission is December 20, 2009. We hope to send out acceptance/rejection e-mails by January 15, 2010.

Instructions: The first author must e-mail the paper to uh.ioob@gmail.com. A sample paper can be seen here.

Submission Form: Download the submission form.

Specifications: Abstract should be 50 words or less. Paper (excluding references, tables and figures) should be 1,000 words or less.

Type of Presentation: Poster, Symposium or both

Category: Personnel selection, psychometrics/methodology, leadership, organizational attitudes and behaviors, training, legal issues, performance appraisal, diversity/inclusion, groups/teams, motivation/rewards/compensation, organizational culture/climate

Guidelines

Guidelines for poster and symposium presentations are now available. Please reference these while planning your presentation.

Poster Guidelines

You may use your own design template for your slides; there is no assigned design template.

We will provide you with a 48 inches by 36 inches tri-fold poster board.

Thumb tacks will be made available.

Please make sure to arrive 10 minutes prior to your presentation time!

It may be helpful to bring copies of your paper and/or business cards to the session.

Symposium Guidelines

You may use your own design template for your slides; there is no assigned design template.

All presentations should last 12-15 minutes. For sessions with four presentations, each presentation will have 12 minutes. For sessions with three presentations, each presentation will have 15 minutes.

Create all presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint format (*.ppt format only).

Bring a copy of your presentation on a USB flash drive or CD-ROM. When you come to the registration table on the first day of the conference, please make sure to mention that you are a presenter so that we can download your presentation right then. This way, we will have the presentations available on the computers for each session in advance. Also bring the flash drive/CD with your presentation to the session for backup.
